Amara Temple Necklace Set
Product Details
Amara. Sanskrit for immortal — the quality of something so beautifully made it outlasts everything around it. The Amara Temple Necklace Set in 22KT antique gold is exactly that kind of piece. A multi-strand emerald green micro-bead necklace with a single pearl connector drop leads to a grand arched temple pendant — deeply hand-engraved deity and peacock motifs in high relief, kundan ruby, emerald and white stone border accents, and a generous cascading fringe of jade teardrop drops.
The Amara set brings together more craft disciplines than almost any other piece in the collection. The pendant engraving is the heart of the story — a karigar working in deep relief, building the deity and peacock motifs layer by careful layer over days of focused work. The kundan border stones are individually set using the jadau technique, each one pressed into 24KT gold foil without prongs or adhesive. The jade drops are hand-selected for colour consistency, individually drilled, and linked to the pendant fringe by hand. This is not one week of work. This is the accumulated skill of multiple karigar disciplines working in coordination — and the result is a set that will genuinely be passed down.
